Wright inducted into the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.

In September, Lawrence Wright was inducted to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, an honorary society and policy organization founded in 1780 that describes itself as “electing exceptionally accomplished individuals and engaging them in advancing the public good.”
